In his letter to the editor, Sean Siekkinen says, “How lazy are commuters in this city that they can’t walk two or three blocks to a bus stop? If CTA spaced bus stops every two or three blocks, it would create a huge boost in fuel efficiency by cutting acceleration and deceleration.”

He’s still going to school, which means he’s a young person. When I was young, I could walk 2.5 miles with no trouble. At age 87 1/2, I have trouble with one block. There are many handicapped and elderly riders like myself.

He should think about that.
