Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Tiger Woods got caught in the rain without an umbrella. And with sloppy bogeys on the final two holes, he left Riviera in Los Angeles wondering if he would get a weekend tee time.

Soaked to the bone, Woods missed an 8-foot par putt on his final hole for a 3-over 74 that put him below the cut line and left him desperate for help from the four dozen players trying to finish. When the second round finally ended, he got enough help to make it on the number.

Rory Sabbatini shot a 5-under 66 for a four-shot lead at 10-under 132.

Thomas Levet (68) and Craig Barlow (69) were tied for second at 6 under.

– South Korea’s Joo Mi Kim shot a 7-under 65 to take a share of the lead after the second round of the LPGA’s SBS Open in Kahuku, Hawaii. Becky Iverson (69) and Sung Ah Yim (66) matched Kim at 9-under 135.
