Voters knew it, and Kellie Pickler knew it–the ditzy country singer just didn’t bring her “A” game to her past two performances on “American Idol.”
“To tell you the truth, I thought I was going home last week,” Pickler told reporters Thursday, according to people.com.
“I deserved to get the boot this week because I had two bad performances back to back, and there’s no excuse.”
