Todd Walker has always been a good No. 2 hitter, but by batting him third, Dusty Baker is putting additional pressure on a guy who’s not a home run hitter. Now I see where another second baseman has been added, meaning Baker can continue playing musical chairs at second base.
All teams have injuries over the course of a year, but a good leader can deal with the situation and keep his team in contention. Please, let’s not have another season of Dusty managing or the Cubs will never see the light of day.
