Edith M. Ostermann, nee Sharff, age 95, longtime resident of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully, June 6, 2006 at ManorCare in Hinsdale, beloved wife of the late Casper P.; loving mother of Jerry (Tsue) and the late George (Leilani); cherished grandmother of Jeff (Suk), Sue (Bobby) Supple; Chris (Monique), Ken (Yvonne) and Mark (Naoko); adoring great-grandmother of Paul, Michelle, Monet, Michaela, Lauren, Alex, Zach and Mackenzie; dear sister of Gladys Sharff, Opal (the late Paul) Galer, Herman (Jean) Sharff and the late Hugo (the late Lily) Sharff; fond sister-in-law of Gladys (Bob) Swanson; devoted aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. A very special and caring person loved by family and friends alike.
