Stephen J. Bertling, Col., USAF, Ret., passed away on May 26, 2006, at his home in Chicago. Colonel Bertling is survived by three children and six grandchildren. The funeral Mass was held in Chicago on June 1, 2006. The interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in August.
