Frederick Giacobbe, age 63, a resident of Naperville, IL for 24 years, formerly of Hanover, PA, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at his home. He was born June 4, 1943 in Meriden, CT. Frederick is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, nee Baylock, Giacobbe, whom he married April 20, 1968; two sons, Matthew Giacobbe and David Giacobbe; his mother, Elizabeth, nee Nadile, Giacobbe; a sister, Lillian (Bert) Blackburn; two brothers, Paul (Sandy) Giacobbe and Donald Giacobbe; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Salvatore Giacobbe; a son, James Giacobbe; and a sister, Joanna McGoldrick. Frederick was a research scientist in the industrial gases industry, most recently with Aire Liquide, Inc., Countryside, IL for the past 27 years. Visitation Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. at The Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Services will begin Friday 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1450 Green Trails Dr., Naperville. Interment private.
