Vernon E. Swanson, 82, of Deerfield passed away June 25 in Blind River, Ontario, Canada. Loving father of Charles (Jennifer) Swanson of Lindenhurst, IL, William (Amy) Swanson of Western Springs, IL and Jeffrey (Fabienne) Swanson of Crozet, VA; grandfather of Eric, Anna, Amanda, Anders, Sonia, Joel and Mary Swanson. He was preceded in death by wife Mary, son Donald and parents Ann P. and Charles E. Swanson. A visitation will be held on July 22, 2006, at 1 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 2 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, 10 Deerfield Rd., Deerfield, IL, with interment in the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Garden.
