Marie Helen Slater, 68, of Palm Springs, CA, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away July 12, 2006, in Goodyear, AZ. She was born September 30, 1937, in Chicago, IL. She was the loving daughter of the late Stephen C. Slater and the late Marie M. Slater; loving sister of Elizabeth S. Johnson; loving aunt to Stephen D. Johnson, David K. Johnson, and Paul D. Johnson; loving great-aunt to Tyler, Kyle, and Abigail Johnson; loving friend to many. Marie was a retired United Airlines employee. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity in Marie’s name would be appreciated. Entombment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 8400 W. Belmont Ave., in River Grove, IL.
