Day after day I keep reading letters from readers who don’t care for columnist Molly Ivins.
They never dispute anything she writes, they just don’t like that she says it. Some of them complain about her tone.
I guess they hear a different voice in their heads than when I read Ivins. To me she reads like the voice of reason, unwilling to be silenced by the authoritarianism of the Republican-controlled federal government.
