What a pleasure to read about the heroic actions of the two young men who pulled their friend out of a canal in Lockport (“Teens spring to the rescue of pals in submerged car,” Page 1, Sept. 14).
I also applaud the Tribune for placing this story on the front page. In an age in which we are continuously confronted with the malevolent behavior of youths, it is heartening to hear about these virtuous deeds that should get more attention.
