High point
Who could forget their cutesy interview on “Access Hollywood” in February, when they took turns asking each other dating questions? OK, probably most people, but we here at RedEye have no lives.
Any of the many, many times Morton and Lohan were photographed lounging next to a swimming pool and playing tonsil hockey. What? Us? Jealous?
Low point
Eva had to do some damage control after telling Allure magazine that she was “the experienced one” in the bedroom.

Armored and dangerous
The Man of Steel hit the big screen this summer in “Superman Returns.” Well, say hello to the man of iron: Robert Downey Jr.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has been tapped to star as Iron Man in the planned movie adaptation of the comic book, to be directed by “Swingers” star Jon Favreau.
A quick glance at the “Chaplin” star’s resume reveals that Downey doesn’t have much experience playing a superhero. Iron Man’s trademark suit of armor presumably will keep him hidden during action sequences.
Filming is scheduled to begin in February in L.A.
Ring the alarm
Mel Gibson’s DUI arrest was a “big wake-up call” for Robin Williams, the funnyman tells “Access Hollywood” in an interview scheduled to air Monday. “If you’re violating your standards faster than you can lower them, time to go away,” he said. Williams announced that he was seeking treatment for alcoholism less than two weeks after Gibson’s high-profile arrest in late July.
Then it’s settled
Michael Jackson and his ex-wife, Deborah Rowe, have settled their lengthy legal battle over custody and visitation rights for their two children, their lawyers said Friday. “We’re still dealing with the details, but it addresses all of the disputes between the parties,” said attorney Marta Almli, who represents Rowe. Almli declined to discuss the terms, but called them “appealing to both of them.”
Arrested
Audioslave guitarist and Libertyville native Tom Morello was among about 400 protesters arrested late last week during a march for immigrant hotel workers, mtv.com reports. “In these political dark ages, it’s important for us to stand up for one another,” Morello told mtv.com before he and others marched. He reportedly was released Friday morning.
