Many politicians and numerous factions of our society have been excessively critical of President Bush’s involvement in Iraq. Yet many people are protesting that we should evaluate the situation in Darfur and send troops to protect against the threat of the genocide that is occurring there.
We are still requesting this president to become even more involved in conflicts that are not directly impacting us.
If I were in Bush’s position, I wouldn’t consider entering another territory, even for humanitarian reasons, unless a bomb was projected and airborne toward our continent.
Our country will never appreciate the good in Bush, and those who claim he should enter other war arenas are simply setting him and our troops up for endless criticism.
