Verner “Scott” Tepe, age 39, of Woodridge, IL, passed away Oct. 19, 2006, after a long and brave fight with cancer. Scott was surrounded by his devoted wife of 17 years and many family and friends, when God took his hand and led him home finally in peace and without pain. Beloved husband of Therese “Teri” Tepe, nee Oliver; loving and devoted father of Verner “Kyle”, Cassandra Elizabeth and Melissa Marie Tepe; loving son of Michaele Collyer and Verner (Judi) Tepe; grandson of Catherine Williams; dearest brother of Glen (April) Tepe; fond son-in-law of Charlene and the late Robert Oliver; dear brother-in-law of Mary Ellen (Michael) Kern, Michael (Kelly) Oliver, Robert (Kathleen) Oliver and David (Reema) Oliver; treasured uncle of Christine, Ryan, Cyndi, Ryan, Jason, Michael, Kenny, Brianna, Tommy, Daniel, Alex, Emily, Autumn, Jennifer, Lauren, Randal, Matthew, Claire, Jacob, Mason, Carter and the late Bethany; dear stepbrother of Sara (Ben) Schmitz and Daniel Kessler; fond nephew of Craig (Carol) Williams; cherished cousin and friend of many.
