Myth: Toilets flush counterclockwise north of the Equator and clockwise south of it. Fact: Not true. It depends on the bowl’s construction. Coriolis, responsible for air deflection (counterclockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, clockwise Southern) is practically zero in small circulations.
