Patricia Soloway, nee Metallo, a 50 year resident of Oak Park, IL, passed away at home Saturday, December 30, after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Maria and Michael; wife of the late Irving; dearest mother and best friend of Barbara; dear sister of Rosemary, Nancy and the late Sam, Arthur, Frank, Florence, Loretta and Susie; aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. She was a 30 year employee of the Automatic Electric Company, served as president for many years of the St. Bernadine Widow and Widowers Club and worked tirelessly for hospice. Visitation Wednesday morning, 9 until 11 a.m., at Salerno’s Galewood Chapel, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago, followed by an 11:30 Mass at Ascension Church, Oak Park. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
