Son of the late Thomas and Rita Pilafas; loving father of Thomas (Melanie), Peter (fiance Lisa Eul) and Scott (fiance Amy Atkins); proud grandfather of Maura Braeden; good friend of Pamela Phillips; fond brother of Mary (Len) Shankman; proud uncle of Len (Kim) Shankman, and Ann, Matt, Charlie, Grace and Jack McCabe; he was a special cousin and friend to many.
