Raymond E. Arthurs, age 80, of Worth, born in Chicago, passed Jan. 18, 2007, U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Beloved husband of Mildred, nee Stryzek-Doyle and the late Lois, nee Janosky; devoted father of Raymond Jr. (Janet), Gary (Karen), Cynthia (Richard) Donnellan, Robert (Sandra), William (Patricia) and the late David; loving grandfather of Jennifer (John) Urbanksi, Richard Donnellan Jr., Gary Jr., William Jr., Sara, Steven, Kevin and Adam Arthurs; cherished great-grandfather of John IV, Joshua and Jamie; dearest brother of Helen Wood, Robert Arthurs, Paul Arthurs, David Arthurs, Marlene Jordan and the late George Arthurs. Also survived by the Doyle, Ryan, Janosky, Malloy and Neuburger families. Over 30 years of service with the Chicago Board of Education as a motor truck driver.
