– Trumpeter and New Orleans Saints fan Wynton Marsalis had a painful evening Sunday at Chicago’s Symphony Center when he performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, which he directs. At the end of the concert, the Bears victory was announced. The crowd went wild, and Marsalis buried his head in his hands. The orchestra and chorus then struck up “Bear Down, Chicago Bears,” with the audience singing along and clapping.

– Leonardo DiCaprio says he wanted to give up acting for a time after “Titanic.” He told Newsweek for editions on newsstands Monday he was back to being considered “another piece of cute meat” after the 1997 film’s box office success, an image he had wanted to get away from after his days on the cover of teen magazines. “It was pretty disheartening to be objectified like that,” he said.
