Chicagosports.com asked fans on the Bears message boards about the NFL draft:
“As good of a year Des Clark had … having a guy who is a game breaking target at that position would help the WRs, the QB and the backs by forcing safeties to double team and linebackers to play a yard or two further back. And if this TE was a hell raising blocker on top of being a receiver … that would help all of the other players that much more. Besides, even with Des … we could still go to a 2 TE set.”

“You’re a year late on the Moose-drops-too-many bandwagon. Moose didn’t drop that many this year. There were a couple, but in general, Moose had a great year. And he is a big guy. If anything, we need another speed WR.”
