John Weldon McDougall, age 80, passed away on Tuesday May 8, 2007, at home, beloved husband of Martha “Molly” McDougall; loving and devoted father of The Honorable Donald, Kathleen, Colleen (J.T.) Heater, Timothy (Maureen), and Mary (Mark) Perini. World’s best grandfather to Matthew, Isabella and Mitchell McDougall; loving “Uncle Wimpy” to many nieces and nephews. Born in Chicago, John joined the Navy at age 17 and served in World War II. John married Martha in 1950 and settling down on the southside Chicago, moving later to Palos Park, then finally to Midlothian. John was a dedicated and successful entrepreneur in the adhesive business, starting his own companies, Pressure Sensitives, Inc., and Weldon Industries, Inc. John enjoyed the game of golf as a 44 year member of Midlothian Country Club. John will be remembered for his great love of family and friends, his sense of humor and for his ability to make people laugh and feel comfortable in any situation. He will be deeply missed.
