Everett “Sonny” Major, age 86, Ret. Sgt, C.P.D. Internal Affairs Dept., beloved husband of Therese Major, nee Kokaska; loving stepfather of Cyndie (Jim) Mailette, Brian Konrath and Staff Sgt. Michelle (the late Jason U.S.N) Samples. Sonny was an adored grandfather of seven and a great brother-in-law. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday, May 18 until time of funeral Mass 9:30 a.m. at St. Christina Church, 111th & Christina Ave., Chicago. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with Military Honors. Mr. Major, was a WWII Veteran in the United Marine Corps. For additional funeral information, T.P.
