Jeffrey Sonnenfeld will lead a discussion on recent CEO blunders and how to recover from a major career setback at an event presented by RHR International.

Sonnenfeld, a senior associate dean of the Yale University School of Management and co-author of “Firing Back: How Great Leaders Rebound After Career Disasters,” will discuss how executives such as Donald Trump, Martha Stewart, Jimmy Carter and George Foreman “fired back” after career blunders. He will also address why other leaders never recovered from their professional setbacks.

Sonnenfeld will discuss his five-step strategy for rescuing a career and how local executives can overcome career mistakes.

The event will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday at the Mid-Day Club, 21 S. Clark St. For information, call RHR International at 312-236-4909 or e-mail rhrchicago@rhrinternational.com.
