*The three Mexican directors who shook up Hollywood last February with 16 Academy Award nominations have formed a moviemaking partnership with Universal Pictures worth a reported $100 million. Guillermo del Toro, Alfonso Cuaron and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu will produce five movies, some of them in Spanish. The trio individually directed “Pan’s Labyrinth,” “Children of Men” and “Babel,” respectively.

*Actor Sylvester Stallone was convicted Monday of importing restricted muscle-building hormones into Australia and ordered to pay $10,651 in fines and court costs. A customs search of Stallone’s luggage during a Feb. 16 visit to Sydney revealed 48 vials of the growth hormone Jintropin.

*Fats Domino has returned to the stage, to the delight of friends and fans. The 79-year-old rock legend’s last public performance was on Memorial Day 2004, more than a year before Hurricane Katrina washed away his 9th Ward home and he had to be rescued by boat. Domino appeared at a New Orleans nightclub Saturday and performed about a dozen hits with saxophonist Herbert Hardesty and their band.
