Hey, maybe Jessica Simpson is starting to get the hang of this big Hollywood breakup thing.
If the rumors are right, and the ex-Mrs. Nick Lachey has indeed broken up with singer John Mayer, she certainly appears to be OK with it.
“I am very happy,” she told People magazine at the Cannes Film Festival when asked about the split, “but I don’t really want to talk about my personal life tonight because it’s not what it’s about. But I am very happy. I will let you know that.”
On Friday, People quoted friends of both singers confirming the split.
