Robert Byrd, Sr., 69, died Thursday, June 7, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Louise Byrd; Children; grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial Service; 11 a.m., Thursday, at Beargrass Missionary Baptist Church, 2300 Payne Street; Arrangements by G.C. Williams. In Lieu of flowers, contributions made to Robert L. Byrd Foundation, c/o National City Bank for the Family Life Christian Center.
