Writer/director Frank Miller, of “Sin City” and “300” fame, will use a comic strip for his next film. Miller is working on “The Spirit,” an adaptation of Will Eisner’s newspaper strip, and he said he plans to shoot with the same green-screen technology he learned from Robert Rodriguez on “Sin City,” mtv.com reports. And Samuel L. Jackson told MTV he will play the flick’s villain, Octopus.
