Six-year-old Nicholas Wagner has got the blues, and he couldn’t be happier. Most of the cicadas that have emerged in recent weeks have red eyes, but Nicholas found one with blue eyes in his back yard Friday in Downers Grove. Nicholas’ mother, Maria, said her son learned about the blue-eyed bugs in kindergarten, and he decided to go out and hunt for one himself. Those in the know say the find is rare, but not unknown.
