Robert M. Mattern, 71, of Naperville, IL, passed away unexpectedly June 8, 2007. He was born and raised in Des Moines, IA and a veteran of the US Air Force. Those having shared his love of life are his wife Rosalie R. Mattern; sons, Douglas and Timothy Mattern; loving grandfather of four; he was preceded in death by his daughter Christina R. Mattern, leaving a son whom he cared for and loved. He worked in the information technologies field for over 40 years as a field technician and a software support specialist. He showed us all how to overcome and accomplish. He was there in our lives always. His faith in Our Lord was powerful and emotional for all that he encountered throughout his life. Memorial and visitation will be held at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Naperville, IL.
