An inquest into the deaths of Princess Diana and her friend Dodi Fayed in a car crash nearly 10 years ago resumed in London on Wednesday, and the new judge overseeing the process pledged it would be transparent and quick. Justice Scott Baker held his first day of preliminary hearings after replacing retired judge Elizabeth Butler-Sloss, who resigned from the inquest last month.
