James Harder, 68, of Woodstock died Monday June 18, 2007 at Florence Nursing Home in Marengo. He was born Nov. 6, 1938 in Chicago to James and Eleanor, nee Lorang, Harder. He married Colleen Hickey on Jan. 21, 1961 in Oak Park. He is survived by his wife Colleen, children, Jim, Patrick, Maureen (Todd) Larsen, Cathleen of Chicago; grandchildren Andrew, Patrick, TJ, Makeala, Kylie, Brooke, Jillian, Jeremy, and Riley; brother Robert (Carol) Harder; sister Sue (Archie) McLean, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2007 and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a celebration of life to follow on Saturday, June 23 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home,505 E. Grant Hwy., Marengo, IL. 60152. Cremation rites to be accorded. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Northeast Illinois or the American Diabetes Association.
