Doris Parise, age 88, died June 18, 2007, born June 30, 1918 in Buckner, Il to Josias and Sophia Oyston. She married Paul Parise on June 25, 1939 in Chicago. They moved to Amarillo in 2001 from Chicago. Mrs. Parise was active at St. Monticas in Chicago, and also a member of Italian Club Federation and the VFW Skokie Valley Women’s Auxilary Post #3854. She was also a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, John P. Parise in Sept. 2000. Survived by husband, Paul J. Parise; son Paul Parise Jr. (Linda) of Amarillo, TX; daughter-n-law Carole Miller of Crystal Lake, IL; sister, Laura Mae Armstong of Benton, IL; three grandchildren, Christpher Parise, Marc Parise and Anthony Parise; two great-grandchildren, Carter and Chase; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home.Mass 10 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2007 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church Chapel with Msgr.
