Chicago police found 942 counterfeit Nike gym shoes Thursday afternoon during a raid of a business on the West Side. A 31-year-old Chicago man taken into custody after the raid told police that he had been selling the shoes for $50 per pair, Harrison District Officer Carol McGhee said. Police visited Brothers Two, 604 S. Pulaski Rd., after receiving a tip that the business was selling fake Nike shoes. Police said the shoes came from China, but it’s unclear whether the man in custody went to China or bought them from a third party.
