Proposing marriage is nerve-racking enough, but it’s probably a lot more traumatizing when you don’t even know you’re about to do it.
Collegehumor.com writers Streeter Seidell and Amir Blumenfeld have been engaged in a long-running “prank war.” But Blumenfeld may have pulled off the ultimate doozy last week.
When Seidell and his girlfriend attended a game at Yankee Stadium recently, Blumenfeld posted a fake proposal on the big screen, according to his interview with deadspin.com. It read:
“Dear Sharon, I Love You Forever!! Will You Marry Me? Streety Bird.”
She says “yes,” but the video shows a very animated Streety Bird breaking the bad news — right before she slaps him.
“They’re still together,” Blumenfeld says. “Since the prank, Sharon has been hating Streeter less and less and hating me more and more. … I kinda felt bad about that.”
