Devin Hester was none too excited about being left out of the offensive game plan against the Chargers in the opener. Offensive coordinator Ron Turner now promises Hester and rookie RB Garrett Wolfe will be more involved against the Chiefs. “It’s football, man. Everybody wants to play,” Hester said. “I just went with the game plan [against San Diego]. I had no control over it.”

– Rookie TE Greg Olsen (sprained knee) was limited at practice Wednesday.

– The Buffalo Bills signed DE Copeland Bryan off the Bears’ practice squad and added him to the active roster.

– According to a report by the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys have an interest in former Bears DT Tank Johnson. The Cowboys recently lost Jason Ferguson for the season with a torn right biceps. Johnson is serving an eight-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
