Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

We’ve been wandering around town, looking for people with a unique sense of style, stopping them in their tracks and asking them to talk about what they’re wearing.

Welcome back to “Concrete Runway,” and watch for us on the street. We might stop to ask you what you’re wearing, what made you buy it, where you got it and what it says about you. Our latest victim: Brittany Reilly, 24, Chicago, independent curator and an assistant at Herman Miller and exhibits assistant at Newberry Library.

Q–Tell us about your outfit.

A–I found this top on sale at Penelope’s on Division [1913 W. Division St.; 773-395-2351]. I actually hate the color purple, but for some reason I liked this. It’s my only purple piece.

Q–What did you like so much?

A–It reminds me of picnics and Skipper from Barbie [p.s. that’s Barbie’s little sister].

Q–What about the leggings?

A–They’re from American Apparel [americanapparel.net], of course. I thought the dress was too short to wear without them.

Q–Tell us about your accessories; we love your bag!

A–Well, the bag is from this Canadian line called Brave Brown Bag, it’s a really cool brand that a designer I work with tipped me off to. Their bags are supposed to last forever and be really durable. And the sunglasses are Chanel frames that I got at Glasses Ltd. on Oak Street [49 E. Oak St.; 312-944-6876]. I saved up for them because I adore their classic look and the quilted, wide arms. I bought them right before I went on a little fishing trip with my boyfriend in Erie, Pa. We literally caught nothing, so I hope they’re not bad luck.

Q–And what about your style? What inspires you?

A–I’m often inspired by the ’50s and ’60s. My haircut is actually inspired by my favorite French actress from that time period, Jean Seberg.
