The Oscar-winning actor gave a pre-game speech to the Michigan football team before Saturday’s 38-0 win against Notre Dame, the Tribune reported. And how does a Hollywood superstar end up talking to a team of college athletes?
Seems that UM coach Lloyd Carr used footage from Crowe’s “Cinderella Man” to motivate his team last year. Crowe heard about it, and the two men became fast friends.
Now if only we could get Crowe to talk to the White Sox.
