“The Hills” star Lauren Conrad almost called it quits after last season, she tells Seventeen magazine for its October issue.
The fallout between her and ex-BFF Heidi Montag hit an all-time high after Conrad accused Montag and her boyfriend, Spencer Pratt, of spreading a rumor about a sex tape involving Conrad and Jason Wahler.
“I actually came dangerously close to not doing Season 3, because I really didn’t want to do the show with Heidi and Spencer,” Conrad tells Seventeen.
But MTV had the last say, “And so we continue to follow their lives, and the producers keep letting Heidi and Spencer think there’s some hope [that we’ll make up],” Conrad says.
