Beloved wife of Thomas P. Gianes; loving mother of Maria and Tom; devoted daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Petropolis; proud grandmother of Joy, Peter, Nicole and Jeffrey; dear sister of Bill (Juline), Nick (the late Dolores), Mary (Jerry) Sampson and Sophie (Gregory) Toulon; sister-in-Law of Mae (the late John) Kas; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Josephine was the Past-President of St. John The Baptist Ladies Philoptochos and the 20th Century Club of Park Ridge.
She was also a member of Daughters of Penelope.
Visitation Sunday from 4: p.m. to 9 p.m. atCooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy., Park Ridge.
Family and friends will meet Monday morning at St. John The Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 Dempster (at Tri-State Tollway), Des Plaines, IL 60016, for services at 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
