Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

A couple of weeks ago Q announced the launch of a new reader-driven photo feature called Make Us Laugh. The first reader to do so is Bill Stephens of Downers Grove, who was driving to Memphis last year with wife Robin and stopped at the World’s Largest Catsup Bottle in Collinsville, Ill.

The 170-foot-tall (including the 100-foot stand) bottle/water tower is such an Illinois landmark that the Stephenses saw it printed right in their Rand McNally road atlas and had to stop.

Now, you can chide us for our juvenile sense of humor all you want. But Q appreciated not just the artful positioning of the bottle on Bill’s head but also his convincing gesture and facial expression. He has us believing he has a bottle on his head.

OK, your turn, readers. Make us laugh. Send your jpegs to funnyphotos@tribune.com and include IDs, locations, years and background stories as best (and as briefly) as you can, along with your name, town and contact information. We’ll print our favorites.
