The Barrington High School Fine Arts Department and Fine Arts Boosters will hold their annual citrus sale through Oct. 24. Selections include citrus, cheese and sausage. A 5k Memorial Run/Walk in honor of Scott Wherry will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday beginning at Algonquin Middle School, 520 Longwood Drive, and extend along the Prairie Trail bicycle path. Wherry was an avid runner and a former assistant principal at Algonquin Middle School who died this summer. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. Participants are asked to donate a minimum of $15, with proceeds benefiting the Wherry family.
