The fictional pork store in Kearny, N.J., where Tony Soprano and his associates hung out has been demolished — in real life.
“We whacked the pork store,” said Manny Costeira, who leased the empty building to HBO.
Replacing the storefront will be a condo project called “The Sopranos,” Costeira told The Associated Press though he said permits haven’t yet come through. He said the units will range from $325,000 to $385,000.
Costeira has been selling chunks of the Satriale’s facade on the Internet. He said he’s sold about 1,000 pieces in two sizes, for $25 and $50.
And just in time for Christmas!
