Plans are firming up for the new 16th Street Theater in Berwyn. Artistic director Ann Filmer says the theater will host a four-week run of Teatro Luna’s critically acclaimed production of “Machos” from Jan. 25 to Feb. 17; the show closed Sunday at Chicago Dramatists. … Buy a ticket to see TUTA’s closing performance of “It’s Only the End of the World” on Saturday at the Chopin Theatre and you can partake of a free wine reception, hosted by the French consulate. … Discussions are under way for a Chicago production of the off-Broadway hit “My First Time,” wherein performers discuss the loss of their virginity. … The Mercury Theatre is in discussions to present a show called “Girls Night, The Musical,” a comedy about a group of female friends, probably in the spring. … Also circling town, looking for a firm time and a place to land: a new mod musical called “Shout!” Set in England in the 1960s, the show features pop hits made famous by Petula Clark and Dusty Springfield.
