Who says there’s nothing on TV?
Sure, the Hollywood writers’ strike has erased several popular shows from TV screens. But that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing on. There’s still a lot out there to see; you just may have to turn to channels you’ve never explored.
During these trying strike times, I’ll try to point out one show a day that I’ll be checking out.
TruTV’s “The Real Hustle,” premiering at 9 p.m. Tuesday, shows some promise.
It follows professional con artists — pickpockets, sleight-of-hand swindlers and distraction experts — as they scam people on the streets of New York.
Suckers! Oh wait; where’s my wallet?
The crooks show viewers how they do it — and how to avoid falling for such scams.
