Cornelia Constantine, age 88, of Merrillville, IN, passed away on March 10, 2008 at Burgess Square Nursing Home.
She is survived by her children, Stephen (Joyce) Constantine and Diane (Bill) Boyd; grandchildren, Julie Knoch, Shelley (Wayne) Klein, Beverly (Ken) Glomb and Nicole Constantine; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; niece, Pam Constantine; nephew, Tom Bogdan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; daughter, Beverly Ronneau; brother, Olympiu Constantine.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. directly at the Decent of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 750 W. 61st Avenue, Merrillville, with Rev. George Ursache officiating.
Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at theCalumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft St., Merrillville (2 blocks south of cemetery). Burial will take place at the Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
Cornelia was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Roman Orthodox Church.
She was a loving wife and mother and was devoted to her church.
Donations may be made in Cornelia’s name to the Decent of the Holy Ghost Orthodox Church.
