George R. Hartnett, 70, of Stone Park, passed away March 8, 2008.
Beloved husband of the late Shelly Diane, nee Williams; son of the late Charles Sr. and Edna Hartnett; loving father of John, the late Daniel Joseph, LauraGilbert, Jean Theil-Delgado; and stepsons Steven and Michael Sherrill; fond brother of Patricia Theiler, Ann Blusys and the late Charles Hartnett Jr.; cherished grandfather of Sarah, Danielle, Haley, Christian andMadison; dear son-in-law of Ann Williams; friend and former wife Maureen Caufield.
He was a graduate of Drake University, and retired from the U.S. National Guard.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m. atNorthlake FuneralHome,140 E. North Ave., Northlake.
