Ready for a redo? If you didn’t get lucky at last weekend’s South Side Irish parade, line up for the 53rd Annual Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday. The annual spectacle pays homage to the Emerald Isle with another round of bagpipers, floats, Irish dancers, bands and more merrymakers. Parade steps off at noon from Balbo and Columbus Drives and proceeds north on Columbus to Monroe Street. Free. 312-421-1010. The 33rd annual Forever Green — billed by organizers as the largest St. Patrick’s Day party in Chicago — says “Slainte!” with free-flowing drinks, then ups the Irish ante with step dancers, bagpipers, live tunes from local rocker Ike Reilly and more.
