INTERURBAN HISTORY

The Central Electric Railfans Association hosts a presentation on “Chicago & Interurban Traction” March 28. The program, which features the line that ran from the Englewood “L” to south suburban Crete, starts at 7 p.m. in the second floor conference center at 525 S. State St. Visit www.cera-chicago.org.

RACING SCHOOL

North Suburban Sports Car Club will sponsor its 48th annual Indoor Racing School March 29 at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, The free school, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., offers instruction in high-speed autocross, wheel-to-wheel road racing and race staff positions. MODEL TRAIN SHOW

The 27th annual All American Railroad Show, sponsored by the DuPage Division of the National Model Railroad Association and Lyons Township High School, is set for March 29 at the north campus fieldhouse at Brainard and Cossitt Avenues in La Grange.
