Shia LaBeouf can’t seem to catch a break.
A bench warrant has been issued for the “Transformers” star, according to tmz.com, after neither he nor a lawyer appeared in court Tuesday to address misdemeanor charges stemming from a Feb. 18 ticket he got in Burbank, Calif., for unlawful smoking.
When we last checked in with LaBeouf, he’d told Empire magazine he was “completely embarrassed” by his arrest Nov. 4 in a Chicago Walgreens after a security guard called police and said the actor refused to leave, police said. A trespassing charge was dropped in December.
“That was complete and utter insanity,” LaBeouf said, according to People.
As of press time, no comment from LaBeouf’s rep about his latest reported incident.
