I love …

… the fresh salsa counter at Michael’s Fresh Market [856 S. Illinois Highway 59] in Naperville.

— Sarah Lata, Palos Park

… the ham and cheese omelet at Billy’s Grill [3711 W. Columbus Ave., near 83rd]. Lots of ham and cheese. It is delicious.

— Dennis Hallberg, Evergreen Park

… the Dorado nachos at Dorado [2301 W. Foster Ave.], topped with smoked duck, black beans, Chihuahua cheese, a lime cream sauce and pickled jalapenos. This is a must-have on every visit.

— Glenn Jeffers, reporter

I hate …

… when bicyclists use the road instead of the nice bike pathways, which are right next to the road.

— Linda Battaglia, Downers Grove

… ice cream trucks that play “Turkey in the Straw.” They never play the bridge!

— Renee Haebich, Chicago

… when I see landscapers pulling out tulip bulbs that were recently planted. Can’t they be replanted elsewhere and/or donated to the Botanic Garden or local garden clubs?

— Christine Kouvelis, Lake Bluff
